The new FKR is the perfect cartridge kit for riders who demand the best performance from their bike. Designed for high-level racing in the SuperStock and SuperSport classes, the new FKR cartridge kit will give you the best race performance without having to replace the entire fork. Created for supersport bikes such as: Yamaha R1 / R6, BMW S1000RR / HP4, Honda CBR1000RR, Kawasaki ZX10R, Aprilia RSV4R, Ducati Panigale, Triumph Daytona 675, MV Agusta F3 and Suzuki GSXR1000R.

The FKR cartridge kit features a spring-loaded pressurized system, compared to the old gas-loaded system, and the spring seal ensures a simpler design, easier maintenance, and easier adjustments. The spring-loaded pressurized system eliminates the risk of gas leaks, offers a more consistent performance curve, and allows for a more compact design. Öhlins engineers decided to completely transform the FKR compared to its predecessor. With Öhlins TTX technology, a newly designed piston, and an 8mm piston shaft, pressure buildup has been reduced and damping response has been quicker. This provides a "linear" style of damping characteristics that creates more adjustment options and increases grip and shock absorption, while improving chassis stability, precision, comfort, and safety.
